Our founder, Dave Barner, has over 15 years of experience and expertise in recruiting solely for Advertising, Marketing, PR and Communications.
A Buffalo, NY native and an avid member of Bills Mafia, Dave moved to NYC to launch his career in recruiting after graduating with a BS in Business Administration and Marketing from SUNY Geneseo. After just three years, Dave co-founded a recruiting agency and helped build the business from its inception into a highly profitable agency with multimillion dollar billings and almost a dozen employees.
After five years there and a six-month vacation in Mexico, it was time to grow again: Dave became the sole founder of Barndog Staffing and works with a small, specialized, in-house team to provide exceptional service to both candidates and clients.
He believes his success has always—and will always—be achieved by caring about his employees, clients, and candidates equally, and by working tirelessly every day to build a brand known for putting the interests of others before its own.
